Software Developer III Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years software development experience
  • 3 – 5 years experience in C#, ASP.NET, XML, XHTML, and SQL Server development
  • 3 years experience in relational database design and usage
  • 3 years experience in software architecture design and implementation
  • Able to lead a software team on a major project
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Design, develop, and maintain software components and applications
  • Create and execute unit tests to ensure proper functionality
  • Adhere to standardized development process as defined by R&D
  • Ensure that tasks are completed on schedule without sacrificing quality
  • Work with customers/users to develop an understanding of their requirements
  • Share knowledge and expertise with other team members
  • Research new tools, technologies, and product opportunities
  • Stay current with the latest software technologies and innovations
  • Incorporate standard OO design into software architecture
  • Become familiar with current R&D software products and processes
  • Continually strengthen knowledge of Mortgage Industry and compliance standards
  • Design and implement architecture for new products or features
  • Manage time effectively in order to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Mentor level I and II software developers on preferred software architecture and database design
  • Lead software team(s) on major projects
  • Research and modify software products to improve performance and scalability
